Universal Pictures recently announced that their latest film ‘Trolls World Tour’ will be witnessing an on-demand release, leaving the theatre owners in shock as they weren’t notified about the studio’s latest move in advance. According to reports, the film will be available to watch on VOD at the price of $20 online.

Meanwhile, a few sources have revealed that the ‘Trolls 2’ stars Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake’s representative are asking a huge compensation for the same, reportedly in seven figures as both of them weren’t aware of the on-demand release of their film and have been an integral part of its publicity.

Only time will tell whether Kendrick and Timberlake will be given fair compensation by Univeral Pictures, adding to an impressive amount of wealth the respective stars bask in.

Timberlake, who is yet to comment on the latest controversy that he’s been dragged into allegedly enjoys a net worth of $250 million at 38. It was the American boy band NSYNC that helped the singer carve a niche for himself in the music industry. Even after the band split, Timberlake focussed on his solo career and released several hits in the years that followed. He also starred in a series of commercially successful films including ‘Friends With Benefits’, ‘In Time’. ‘The Social Network’ and ‘Bad Teacher’.

In 2011, in collaboration with Specific Media Group, the singer purchased the American social networking website Myspace for $35 million. In 2016 the company was purchased by Time Inc. The ‘Say Something’ singer is married to Jessica Biel since 2012 and the couple has a son Silas together.

According to Forbes, Timberlake and  Biel reportedly wanted to "raise their son Silas away from the glare of Los Angeles. So they chose the Yellowstone Club, a private Big Sky, Mont., club where membership reportedly costs $300,000 and annual dues are $30,000—and that’s before the cost of buying a home. The 13,600 acre-club has 2,200 skiable acres. Neighbors include Bill Gates, Dan Quayle and Jack Kemp."

Meanwhile, Kendrick who allegedly enjoys a net worth of $20 million, first came to be known for her role in the 2008 film ‘Twilight’. Following the success of the vampire fantasy, she went on to feature in ‘The Marc Pease Experience’ and ‘Elsewhere’ before reprising her role in ‘Twilight: New Moon’ and ‘Eclipse’.

However, what brought the actress commercial success was the 2012 American musical comedy ‘Pitch Perfect’ in which she portrayed the lead role of Becca Mitchell. While the original grossed over $115 million at the worldwide box office, the sequel, ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ which came out in 2015 was a bigger hit.

Some of her notable works in the recent past include ‘The Accountant’, ‘Table 19’. ‘Pitch Perfect 3’, ‘Noelle’, and her latest appearance as a voice actor in Universal Picture’s ‘Trolls World Tour’.
