Justin Bieber refers to David Beckham as Brooklyn's dad, footballer plays along
Canadian singer and songwriter, Justin Bieber is not much a soccer fan but he did post an older picture on his Instagram feed. The singer, 24, was seen posting a throwback picture on Tuesday with a mild snub to David Beckham.
The retro shot of himself with the superstar footballer was captioned "Me and @brooklynbeckham dad". The Image had a young Bieber with his shaggy hairdo of years past with a Los Angeles Lakers jersey on, while David was wearing a grey 'Henley' top.
The football star responded with "Hahah ... love ya mate." Brooklyn and Bieber have hung out together in the past. They were seen enjoying a night out in town at the Tape nightclub in London in July 2017. Brooklyn and the Canadian pop star have a mutual connection in Bieber's manager Scooter Braun, whose clientele includes Brooklyn's younger brother, Cruz, 13.
"I've known him and his parents for a while," Braun told ET of Cruz in 2016. "I saw him sing and David and I had a conversation and then decided, let him have some fun." Brooklyn, 19, meanwhile went public with his relationship with Hana Cross, 21, on New year. They were recently spotted enjoying a low-key date as they stepped out together for lunch in the upscale London district of Marylebone.
The 'Love Yourself' vocalist seems to be getting off to a great start this new year, as he and wife Hailey Baldwin have sent a Save-the-Date notification to friends and family ahead of a wedding ceremony set to take place February 28, according to a report published by Page Six. He and his model wife, Baldwin, are set to celebrate their union after they obtained their wedding license in September.
Bieber proposed to her in the Bahamas on July 7. The celebrity couple was linked with each other in 2016. This past November, Bieber confirmed their marriage, saying he was celebrating his "first Thanksgiving as a married man" in a social media post.
