Justin Bieber posts throwback photo of 'where it all began' with Hailey Baldwin ahead of their second wedding
Justin Bieber shared a throwback photo on Instagram to the very beginning of his relationship with Hailey Baldwin. The 'Baby' singer, ahead of his second wedding to the model shared an image when the two were teens.
"My wife and I where it all began" he captioned. According to People, the duo's image garnered the attention of their families and well-wishers. Kylie Jenner added a comment that read, "This is amazing", while Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallette termed it, "Oh my heart, How Adorable".
According to Inquisitr, the image saw Baldwin rocking a black sweater while Bieber donned a white t-shirt and a dog tag necklace. His hair was still styled in his signature version of the bowl cut.
Hailey's hair, meanwhile, was worn down, hitting just about shoulder-length while the front was flipped over, indicating she may have been growing out her bangs.
The couple has known each other since their teenage days and the relationship blossomed into romance in 2016. However, after a vacation at St. Barts, where they were photographed kissing, the pair split.
May 2018 saw them rekindle the relationship and two months later, Bieber proposed to Hailey in the Bahamas. The pair secretly tied the knot at the New York City courthouse in September 2018.
The site also reported that the photo comes just as the couple gears up for a celebration weekend for their second wedding ceremony at the luxe Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina.
A source told the site that the pair was "beyond excited" to celebrate with friends. "They are happy that they are finally having a religious ceremony. It's very special for them."
The source added: "This past year has really been a test for them. A test on their marriage. They are very proud of how far they have come. Justin is doing much better. He keeps focusing on his music and seems excited about it."
It was also revealed they will be "taking a break" while they "enjoy a honeymoon". Earlier this month, Baldwin told Vogue Australia how much she'd learned in the past year. She believed all "good relationships" require effort.
"I said that when we had first married," she explained. "I had never lived with someone before. I never had to cohabit with somebody in that way, so I was learning how to share space with someone for the first time," she said.
A source also told People that Kendall Jenner and a small group of pals were behind the planning. It began with a dinner at Ysabel in Los Angeles and continued at Delilah.
"Hailey looked stunning in a white dress and veil. The group was in a wild, happy mood,” the source said. “You could tell Hailey was very excited to celebrate with her friends. She all smiles."
