Julia Wandelt, who claims she is Madeleine McCann, to have DNA matched against missing toddler
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The private investigator helping Julia Wandelt, who claims she is Madeleine McCann, reportedly said that the impending DNA test results will be matched against those of the missing three-year-old British girl. The 21-year-old Polish woman, who also goes by Julia Faustyna and Julia Wendell, moved to the US after claiming that she might be the toddler, who went missing during a family holiday in Portugal in 2007.
Psychic and private detective, Fia Johansson, reportedly supported Wandelt's claims and launched an investigation into the case. She previously noted that Wandelt submitted samples for three separate forensic analyses that will ascertain her DNA sequence as well as a genetic test akin to 23andMe that will determine her ancestry. She explained that now, she would be able to use the DNA test results to determine if Wandelt was McCann, Daily Star reported.

'Madeleine McCann's DNA is already there'
“A lot of you ask why Kate and Gerry (are not involved),” Johansson claimed in her latest Instagram Live. “There is no need – Madeleine McCann's DNA is already there. They don't need to get involved with media press," Johansson continued, adding, “When the DNA test comes, which I am really badly waiting for and checking every day the status of it, we will match with a DNA test of (Madeleine) McCann. [She could also match] anyone else out there that looking for their kid that may [be] missing at that time.”
Does Julia Wandelt have cancer?
Johansson is reportedly taking care of Wandelt in the US, where she has been living in an undisclosed location after receiving a slew of death threats. Wandelt gave her samples for the DNA test earlier in March. During the test, doctors checked her blood and determined that she could have leukaemia. “Her blood work is also abnormal so my doctor here in the US is investigating whether she could have leukemia so we are awaiting the results of that. And if she needs any treatment we will make sure she gets that," she said in a previous post.
After receiving backlash and threats online, Wandelt shut down her Instagram page but Johansson keeps the world informed on developments through her Instagram profile. She recently shared a video of Wandelt playing the piano and singing while a woman standing next to her wiped away her tears. The listener, wearing the black sweatshirt, is believed to be the private investigator's sister, as she captioned the clip, "She played for my sister and she cried."
