Julia Wandelt: 'Fake Madeleine McCann' reported to cops over 'explicit images of children on phone'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Julia Wandelt, the woman, who claimed but proved to be not Madeleine McCann in DNA tests, has been reported to police over allegations that explicit images of children were found on her phone. Dr Fia Johansson, an alleged psychic and private detective who supported Wandelt's claims and launched an investigation into the case, said Wandelt encouraged young girls to join sex platforms.
The allegations come after the reports that Wandelt's cell phone was voluntarily handed over to the police with a search and seizure taking place. This was confirmed by Dr Johansson, reports Radar, who now has filed a report with US police alleging Wandelt's phone appeared to contain explicit images of children. Dr Johansson told The Sun that she handed the phone to Orange County Sheriff's Department who informed her it will be delivered to law enforcement in Germany and Poland, who will investigate.

'I am not a paedo. I am a victim of a paedo'
She told the outlet, "Police are taking this very seriously and have assured me that a full investigation will be done." But Wandelt has denied it and said she had spoken to police in Poland over the allegations. "I didn’t have child pornography on my phone. I am not a paedo and I never tried to encourage any teenagers to do anything illegal and bad and disgusting. I am not a paedo. I am a victim of a paedo," said Wandelt, who stressed that the pictures must have been put there by someone else and stated that she bought the phone from an unknown person.
'I will make my name clean'
Wandelt said, "Just think carefully, if someone is a paedo, I believe this person would never go by himself to a police station or this person would never talk about what I was talking in public to the whole world because it would be very dangerous for this person. It is not logical ...I am saying the truth and I will make my name clean because I am not a monster."
Commenting on it, spokesman Sgt Mike Woodroof explained, "A report was taken, however, at this time, it is not considered a crime report. The investigation must be completed first prior to determining if any criminal elements can be applied." On the other hand, the Sheriff's Department said, “We are not going to make any comments about the case. Our investigation is taking a deep look into it and we’re going to let them do their investigative duties and then from that point let the judicial system take over – if it needs to.”
Julia Wandelt started a fundraiser in Poland
Following the DNA results that proved she is not Madeleine McCann, who went missing on May 3, 2007, Wandelt returned to Poland and launched a fundraiser after she claimed that she was "coerced" into the US trip.
Wandelt came into notice after she started posting photos of her and wrote in an Instagram post from her account, @iammadeleinemccann, "I don't remember most of my childhood but my earliest memory is very strong and It's about holidays in a hot place where was beach and White or very light colored buildings with apartments. I remember that I saw turtles on the beach it was little Bav as I can remember I saw turtles then and there were other children and they tried to touch small turtles. I don't see my family in this memory."
