Julia Michaels deleted her Twitter account after she faced heat from Sabrina Carpenter’s fans

Sabrina Carpenter released her fifth studio album ‘Emails I Can’t Send’ on Friday, July 15, and soon after the project got into controversy after her close friend Julia Michaels claimed the songwriting credits for her latest studio effort. The latter was brutally slammed on Twitter after she replied to some of the fans saying ‘I wrote F**king all of these.” Michaels ended up deactivating her Twitter account over the weekend.
 
While the loyal fans of Michael defended her, others dubbed her ‘immature’ and ‘weirdo’ for talking s**t on Twitter and taking credits for Carpenter’s album. The California-based singer-songwriter did not address the trolls directly but did post multiple stories on Instagram revealing her deep love for songwriting. Michael was also dragged for praising Sabrina on Instagram on the release day but now taking credit for her album.

Julia Michaels deletes her Twitter account

While first replying to some of the fans on random posts, Michael wrote, “But I thought you hate the way I write cause fyi…I wrote F**king all of these” after they were praising Carpenter’s album. However, after getting brutally dragged for the same, the 28-year-old crooner deactivated her Twitter account.
 
Michaels then used her Instagram to voice her opinion as she posted multiple stories on the photo-sharing app. “I’ve had so many ups and downs throughout my career. Truly some of the highest highs and the lowest lows and to this day I still can’t believe that I get to do what I love for a living.” She added, “It’s beautiful and sad and heartbreaking and painful and sometimes I wanna f**king quit” concluding, “But nothing ever feels as good to me as when you’ve finished writing a song and it feels like you just took a deep breath.”

On the release day of Carpenter’s album, Michaels praised the singer on Instagram saying, “Emails I can’t send is out nowwwwwwwww. So proud of you @sabrinacarpenter you really put every damn piece of your heart and soul into this. So happy everyone gets to experience it now thank you for so many memoriessssss I love you very much.” Carpenter, on the other hand, has not commented on the controversy. MEAWW will keep you posted.

Julia Michaels’ stunt on Twitter got mixed reactions from social media users. One individual posted, “Leave julia michaels alone she’s a close friend of sabrina’s obviously she wasn’t taking all the credit for eics people were insulting her writing way before the album even came out so her frustration is understandable we don’t need to dramatize everything.” Whereas, another mentioned, “When it’s a song you don’t like it’s “julia michaels’ writing sucks” but when it’s a bop it’s “sabrina wrote the song and the emails julia just helped her with it” like please pick a struggle my sisters in christ.” One added, “Julia Michaels is a whole weirdo she’s taking credits for Sabrina’s album like she was the one who got hate and death threats all these months... girl u are just a co writer!!!! go claim ur own s**t.”
