Julia Haart has filed a petition seeking a restraining order against former husband Silvio Scaglia for allegedly threatening to kill her. The 'My Unorthodox Life' star filed the petition on February 10, Thursday, demanding the court to interdict him from physically coming near her or contacting her via any means.

Haart in her petition said she took the decision to file a restraining order after she noticed hostility being displayed by Silvio against her son Judaism. She also revealed that Silvio told her that he would "kill her in the public eye." According to court documents, Julia said Silvio "has become increasingly volatile, abusive and unhinged" over the past several weeks. She also said she felt scared for her and her kids' safety, some of whom live with her currently.

Julia met Scaglia back in 2015. While the pair were dating, Haart was hired at La Perla in 2016 and the duo then got married in 2019. The couple did not have any children together.

She filed for the restraining order a day after she was fired from Elite World Group, the company she co-owns with Scaglia. An insider spoke to Us Weekly and said that Haart's firing from the position completely blindsided her and she had no idea why the decision was taken. Most believe the firing was simply because of the growing hostility between the two as the messy split begins to get messier.

On February 9, Elite World Group announced that Paolo Barbieri will replace Haart as the CEO of the business.

A lawyer for Julia said in a statement, "The action taken to remove Julia Haart from her position as CEO was unauthorized and of no legal effect. She is a 50 percent owner of the business and was one of the two directors. Unfortunately, this comes at a time when Julia and Silvio are in the beginning of divorce proceedings. Julia will enforce all of her legal rights and remedies."

Julia is also currently working with her attorney for her next course of action. Another insider who has been a witness to the whole situation said, "They were in the process of divorcing amicably and talked every day. To use that as retaliation to try to push her out of the company is sad."
