Evans joined 'Days of Our Lives' in 1986 as Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis. She was part of the regular cast from 1986 to 1991 and returned in 2003 to play Bonnie Lockhart. The successful series won several Daytime Emmy Awards and established itself as a mainstay of American daytime television. Bonnie from the series is an extremely happy woman, except for the kidnapping by a crazed clown. Evans' character has come a long way from her gold-digging, cunning roots to marry Justin and join one of the most influential families in Salem. The 'Days of Our Lives' actress took to her Instagram to clarify how lucky she has been in love. She shared the picture of her husband, Michael Luciano at work with a camera on the waters. She captioned the picture, "Check out my #HotHusband, hard at work. I’m a lucky gal.” The couple got married in 1993 in their backyard in New Jersey. They started dating in 1992 and have been together for around 30 years.

When a curious fan asked Evans how the couple met, she gave some insight into her life. She said, "Believe it or not, the first time we met was a chance meeting at a horse stable and a 15-minute convo when we were 19. Then the second time we met was 7 years later at the ’50s themed Bar/Dance place.” The actress even highlighted her meet cute and explained how fate was on her side. The couples meet cute led to their wedding, and they are still going strong. Evans recently revealed a picture of the couple on their wedding day, and it is obvious that she was, is, and always will be infatuated with Luciano.
