LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Johnny Depp fans, voicing for his return as Captain Jack Sparrow, are likely to face heartbreak as the actor reportedly has no plans to ever work with Disney again. There has been furious speculation about his return to the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise which could earn him up to $20 million.

"Depp is done with Disney once and for all," the Daily Mail reported quoting sources on the eve of his 60th birthday. It is all due to the franchise dropping him when Amber Heard accused him of abuse in the widely televised court trial.

'They blind-dropped him even though Amber had lied her a** off'

"He is still furious," his pals put as per the outlet, and "appearing in a film for Disney does not interest him." The insiders shared with the publication that Depp is still navigating his ways after he was rejected when wife-beating accusations first surfaced. "They blind dropped him even though Amber had lied her a** off," a friend told the media outlet.

The insiders further revealed even though the actor at Cannes' said he didn't feel boycotted by Hollywood, Depp is "a sensitive" man, and he is furious at how the domestic abuse charges were handled and have concluded that focusing on a life outside of the profession is best for him.

No matter how lucrative the offer is, Depp is still going to say no, the friend further stated, as per the publication. The source further mentioned that he won't agree to return for this particular studio project, and he is unlikely to be lured to do any studio film again. Because it wasn't only Disney who let Depp go at first. As the source said, "Depp is picking up the threads of his career and is concentrating on music, art, and directing arthouse films" and that his blockbuster era seems to be a thing of the past.

'He's got no interest in Hollywood at all'

"He says he isn't interested in speaking someone else's words. He is interested in authentic expression of himself, through art and music at the moment. He's got no interest in Hollywood at all," a source told the media outlet. On being asked if he might be interested in another passion project like the 2020 film 'Minamata' the source replied in affirmative. "He might. I would say that it is likely he will spend most of his time in France, painting and making music. There could be the odd film," the source added.

'Just vowels and consonants floating in the air'

Last month at the Cannes film festival, Depp said Heard's allegations were "just vowels and consonants floating in the air." Rejecting the idea of combing back to Hollywood, at that time he said: "By the way I didn't come back from anywhere,'' he said at the festival before adding ''I live about 45 minutes away. Maybe people stopped calling out of whatever their fear was at that time, but no, I didn't go anywhere."
