It is still not clear how the couple's joint wealth will be divvied up after they separate. There is also no information regarding the alimony amount or if they have any shared real estate. It is also not clear who will get to keep their pet, a French bulldog named Petunia.

What is John Mulaney's net worth?

Mulaney, 38, is a comedian who has reportedly amassed a net worth of $6 million. Known for his work as a writer on 'Saturday Night Live' and as a stand-up comedian, he has won two Emmy awards and has been nominated several times. According to Celebworth.net, the stand-up comedian's salary is approximately $520,000 a year.

In 2015, Mulaney had shared on Instagram about his and Tendler's first night in their new home and said, "First night in our new house. We have no furniture but we do have a ceramic leopard, so that's where we're at. We are pretty sure it's not haunted but are up for a skirmish if it is. A beautiful wife deserves a beautiful home."  The picture also featured their dog. The status of who will end up owning this house is unclear. However, the divorce settlement will be a drain on Mulaney's fortune.

Mulaney had checked himself into a 60-day stay in a Pennsylvania rehab facility for alcohol and cocaine addiction over the holidays in December 2020. At the time, his friends had explained, "John’s friends and family are happy that he’s finally getting some help and focusing on his health."

This source also added in an interview with the Sun, "His fans know he’s struggled in the past with sobriety, he has talked about it openly. Unfortunately, he has struggled again during the pandemic. He’s on board with his recovery, he’s not fighting against rehab."

Mulaney did open up about his struggles with alcohol in the past. He would share his struggles candidly on-stage as part of his comedy routine. For instance, in 2012 comedy special called 'New In Town' he had said, "I don't drink. I used to drink, then I drank too much and I had to stop. That surprises a lot of audiences because I don't look like someone who used to do anything."

John had also told in an interview with Esquire, "I wasn’t a good athlete, so maybe it was some young male thing of ‘This is the physical feat I can do. Three Vicodin and a tequila and I’m still standing.’ Who’s the athlete now?"

Before checking himself into the rehab in 2020, the actor shared that he had a moment of clarity when he was 23, and explained "I went on a bender that weekend that was just, like, fading in and out of a movie … It was just crazy … I was like, ‘You’re f**king out of control. And I thought to myself, ‘I don’t like this guy anymore. I’m not rooting for him.'” He was released from rehab in February 2021, and has continued to get treated as an outpatient.
