Joe Rogan confesses to using 'mushrooms'
In the video shared on the YouTube channel Joe Rogan Clips, Rogan can be observed mentioning his use of mushrooms as part of his approach. The insight he gained from using mushrooms made him understand the inner workings behind the scenes, particularly how other media outlets aimed to undermine his presence.
Furthermore, he mentioned instances like when CNN continuously replayed segments repetitively, reflecting a dynamic that he found intriguing to observe. Equally fascinating were the reactions of the audience.
This period witnessed a substantial increase in his subscriber count, with 2 million new subscribers joining his channel. Interestingly, the podcast's overall size remained relatively consistent; however, its continuous growth was evident. The culmination of these experiences ultimately contributed to its expanded reach.
Rogan stated, "I used mushrooms. That was one way I did it. Really. What I got to see is the wiring under the machine of how the rest of media would try to take me out.
"And, you know, like when CNN would just be playing things over and over and back and forth. It was wild to watch. What was also wild to watch was people's responses.
"Because I gained 2 million subscribers during that time. Like the podcast never got bigger. It just kept growing and growing. It had never been bigger than it had been at the end of all of it. It just made it bigger."
