AUSTIN, TEXAS: Joe Rogan discussed the perceived decline of the British and American armed forces on Wednesday, October 4, asserting that "woke" politics compromised "combat readiness." He invited Francis Foster, a stand-up comedian, and Konstantin Kisin, a political commentator, to his podcast.

They were discussing how far-left ideology has a destabilizing impact on many facets of contemporary society after Konstantin mentioned that the US Army has trouble recruiting recruits who are physically fit.

Joe Rogan criticized the American military’s 'inclusive' policies

Rogan stated that the military in America has internal issues since it has “kinda gone woke,” and later joked that “inclusion is really important when you’re killing folks.”

“This is the thing we’ve been talking about, right man?” Kisin remarked. “Can we just focus on what works? I want the Army to be good at killing the enemy; I don’t give a f**k about how diverse they are.”

Rogan made a joke about the Ultimate Fighting Championship, an American mixed martial arts promotion firm, saying, “Imagine if the UFC had to have diversity. Do you know what a problem that would be if we had to have a certain amount of trans folks?”

He went on to say, “There’s going to be a bunch of people to get murdered. They’re gonna get thrown in with the real ones; there’s gonna be a certain percentage of people that are just there because they’re awesome, then a certain percentage of people that they have to hire in order to meet these DEI standards.”

Earlier, a leaked email had shown Squadron Leader Andrew Harwin stating his approach to hiring airforce pilots, saying, “I don’t really need to see loads of useless white male pilots; let’s get as focused as possible. I am more than happy to reduce boarding if needed to have a balanced BAME/female/male board,” as per The Telegraph.

FoxNews also reported about the email. According to an RAF source who spoke to The Telegraph, the email “clearly demonstrates the endemic culture that was created by the senior leadership to chase ridiculous diversity statistics that were patently unachievable.”

Joe Rogan mocks policies that 'don't hire the best'

“What a good idea! Definitely don’t hire the people that are the best at it, whether they’re White or Black or Asian. No, just don’t hire White ones,” Rogan mocked.

In response to a claim that this discrimination against White pilots was illegal, a government investigation ensued. Rogan stated, “Dude, you want the best. Whoever the f**k they are, whether they are White or South American or Indian, you want the best. No one cares. You want people who fly the planes the best, only the best; it’s a war plane!”

Returning to his analogy of martial arts competitions, Rogan questioned how well the UK would be fair if it chose a fighter to take on professional boxer Francis Ngannou based more on attributes related to a diversity hire than on competence.

He made a lighthearted comment about the mindset that would be present: “Well, it says the right move is to send in a non-binary woman because they don’t get represented in the UFC.”
