AUSTIN, TEXAS: In a recent episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience', 2024 Democratic hopeful Robert F Kennedy Jr told podcaster Joe Rogan he needs is taking “precautions” to avoid being assassinated like his uncle, the late President John F Kennedy.

Kennedy Jr revealed that he thought the CIA and the intelligence establishment were responsible for his uncle's murder because of his opposition to the wars in Vietnam and Cuba. Let's dig inside what else the 69-year-old politician said.

'I'm aware of that danger'

Kennedy Jr who is presently running against President Joe Biden for the Democratic Party's candidature in 2024, said that his uncle was "at war" with the intelligence community over America's foreign policy. In the episode he said, “He believed that the view of America abroad should not be a soldier with a gun, it should be a Peace Corps volunteer building wells and it should be US aid helping poor people and it should be alliances for progress, building middle class, and that's what he did."

Rogan then asked Kennedy Jr if he is afraid about what could happen when he's in office if he believes intelligence agencies were involved in killing his uncle for his anti-war stance. The podcaster asked, "But what do you think happens when you get into office? You're talking about your uncle who was assassinated and you believe the intelligence agencies were a part of that. What happens to you?” he said. “Well, I gotta be careful and I'm aware of that,” Kennedy Jr said. He continued, “I'm aware of that danger and I don't live in fear of it at all. But I'm not stupid about it and I take precautions.”

The assassination of John F Kennedy

Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated John F Kennedy in Dallas, Texas, in 1963. However, the mystery surrounding the death of the president has given rise to decades' worth of conspiracy theories that have been depicted in innumerable films and books and involve everything from US government officials to Cuba to the mafia.

Not only this, but Robert F Kennedy Jr's father, the late-Senator Robert F Kennedy, was also assassinated in 1968 while running for president as the Democratic nominee. Kennedy Jr has questioned his father's death as well, citing his opposition to the intelligence community as well.
