'Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer': Here's why Kurt's mother warns him about Carolyn
For Kurt and Steven, the pressure is certainly starting to pile on, as they inch closer towards the finale of 'Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer'. With only 6 women left at Lakeshore Manor, the men need to see if they can truly have a future with one of these ladies.
However, the ball is not entirely in their court, as the women still have no idea who is rich and who is not. The question remains, will it affect their situation in the end? It certainly will, seeing that now, all of them are emotionally invested in Kurt or Steven. Plus, the men have also had the chance to meet their parents, further sealing a bond between them

While Kurt and Steven met with the remaining contestants' families, it certainly helped them both see what the future would be like with certain women. However, now it is time for the ladies to meet Kurt and Steven's families. When Martin broke the news to the ladies, they were all certainly excited to know more about the men. Carolyn at this point was confident that she had it in the bag and even mentioned in the confessionals that she was ready to meet her in-laws.
In addition, she kept on gushing about how 'Carolyn Sowers' had a great ring to it. But, she might be getting her hopes high a little too early. In the preview, Kurt is seen talking to his mother, who is concerned about his relationship with Carolyn, pointing out that she sees a similar pattern between her and Kurt's exes.
Should Kurt take this conversation with his mother seriously, then it might actually bump up Amanda's chances with him, seeing that Kurt got along amazingly well with her family and her mother, Debbie. Plus, the fact that Amanda is probably worth over $10 million herself proves that she is on the show for love. Seeing that she and Kurt have a genuine connection, it might be her time to shine.
Meanwhile, Steven's family might end up blowing his cover, as he addresses them and tells them to take off their Rolex watches, as it is a dead giveaway that his family is the rich one.
