'Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer': Fans joke as Carolyn's friend Alex came for Steven

While Carolyn and Kurt are smitten with each other, her friend Alex had eyes for Steven instead

For the cast of 'Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer', it certainly seems like is down to the wire, with only seven women left. And while each of them has a bond with Kurt and Steven, it looks like it is now time for them to take it a step further and have them meet their parents!

For the parents and siblings of the cast, they didn't know what they were getting into until it was explained that there are 7 women technically dating two men. And while everyone got along well, for the most part, Carolyn seemed to be the odd one out, seeing that none of her family members came, but a close friend did instead.

Fans were introduced to Alex, who Carolyn has known since she was a teenager. Alex was there to support her entirely, as she gushed about Kurt to him, explaining that they had an instant connection and bond. Alex even joked that she was keeping Kurt, he could have Steven. While fans enjoyed his presence, they were also confused as to why none of Carolyn's family showed up.

"Not surprised Carolyn is the only one who doesn’t have family here #joemillionaire" tweeted a fan. "Nah Alex gon ask them REAL questions and gonna serve Carolyn the TRUE TEA!!! "@caroesteph friend is looking at @Sir_Kurt & @steven_mcbee like which one is mine girl. #JoeMillionaire #NoTeaAllShade" added another.

Alex later asked Kurt about how he plans on handling the fact that Carolyn does have a child and that her ex-husband is a part of their lives since they both co-parent. For Kurt, that wasn't an immediate issue. However, there was still the matter that Carolyn seemed to deflect questions about the same and never gave him any clear answers. Still, the two of them seem to be into each other, with even Alex confirming that this side of Carolyn was a different one, seeing just how invested she was in this relationship.
