LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Even if Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift's romance didn't last forever, there isn't any animosity between the two of them. After their infamous breakup, Joe says, "I'm cool with Taylor."

The 'Camp Rock' star revealed this on the Armchair Expert podcast on May 22. He said, "We're cool." After just three months of dating, Joe broke up with Swift over a phone call that she said lasted 25 seconds.

'Someday, I’m going to find someone really, really great'

Taylor Swift went on the Ellen DeGeneres show. During the show, she said, “Someday, I’m going to find someone really, really great who’s right for me. When I look at the person, I’m not even going to be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18," as per Just Jared. Ellen responded, "I’m sorry to hear that and so are the millions and millions of other people that just heard that. They’re going to be so mad at him.”

'I hope to think they like me'

“I hope to think they like me,” Joe said on the podcast about Taylor Swift's fans, adding “No one f***s with the Swifties, you know?” The 'Sucker' crooner said after the host Dax Shepard asked him if he had experienced a "rabid" response after the split from the Grammy winner in 2008.

Shepard, 48, jokingly mentioned how Swift's dedicated fanbase has held a grudge against her ex Jake Gyllenhaal who inspired the track 'All Too Well' after their brief fling in 2010. In response, Joe Jonas, 32, empathized with Swift's fans stating that he understood where they were coming from due to his own experience as a pop star. “We don’t really have a nickname for [our fans] but … we get it,” he said. “We understand they’re passionate about their artists and protective, like, ‘This is my artist, how dare you!'”

'It's been many, many years removed'

Even while the former Disney Channel star claimed that he is "cool with Taylor" today, he acknowledged that her fans did once become "mad" at him. But "it's been many, many years removed," he said.

In 2019, Taylor seemed on similar terms when she was asked about her most rebellious act to which she responded to Ellen DeGeneres, as per E-Online, "Probably when I, like, put Joe Jonas on blast on your show. That was too much. I was 18. We laugh about it now but that was mouthy." In a 2019 interview on ITV’s Lorraine show, Joe said, “It’s something that I was probably feeling pretty bad about when I was younger. At the end of the day, I’ve moved on. I’m sure Taylor‘s moved on. It feels nice….We were so young.”
