Joe Exotic's third husband Dillon Passage says it'd be 'disgusting' if he cheated on him in jail
Joe Exotic's third husband Dillon Passage revealed that he cannot confirm if the 'Tiger King' star cheated on him in jail, but says it would be disgusting if he has.
The 22-year-old said that he would speak to his 57-year-old husband many times a day before Joe was moved to another facility while speaking on the Fifi, Fev and Byron radio show in Australia. He shared that their communication has now slightly decreased.
Dillon also admitted that he would try and be supportive if Joe had found a new romantic interest in prison but said he did not know for sure whether Joe had found someone new. He explained how he and Joe would speak 'three to five times' every day.
"But recently he was moved to another facility so I've only been able to speak to him two times in the past three weeks," he revealed. Joe is currently serving a 22-year-long prison sentence for his involvement in a murder for hire plot against his rival Carole Baskin.
Dillon also said that he plans on going nowhere but is unsure whether Joe feels the same. "I have no idea, if he has [cheated] then that's disgusting but good for him. I have no idea if he has, but if he has, he hasn't told me about it," he shared.
The two have also spoken about whether Dillon should move on and find someone else. "If I decide to move on and find somebody that he's going to support me," he shared.
We had earlier reported that Joe had been kept in isolation when an inmate tested positive for coronavirus.
Dillon had confirmed that Joe "is in his own" COVID-19 quarantine. "From what I know, yes. From what he told me," he shared.
He also spoke about his relationship with Joe on Andy Cohen's radio show and said, "I do love Joe. He’s been with me through my darkest times, and I’m not going to just dip out and abandon him when he needs me most."
Joe was sentenced to prison in 2019 after he paid a hitman to kill his nemesis Carole Baskin who is an animal rights activist. Baskin's husband Don Lewis disappeared in 1997 and had been declared dead even when there was no body found.
Joe always believed that Baskin had something to do with Lewis's death and disappearance. A former employee in Joe's zoo, Joshua Dial, was surprised at how Baskin was portrayed in the new Netflix documentary.
According to Dial, he has not heard anything from Baskin or about her but believes that she is possibly very angry at how she was shown in the series. While speaking on the Domenick Nati Show, Dial shared, "We didn't even realize how they're going to portray her until they did in the series."
"There was one point during the filming where I almost thought that maybe they were filming on behalf of Carole Baskin because of the questions they would ask me during the interview. I kind of had a little bit of anxiety for several months thinking they were just filming for Carole Baskin and take everyone down," he revealed.
