Joe Exotic is currently serving a 22-year sentence for animal abuse and murder-for-hire, but he cannot stop yapping about how he has already won his self-proclaimed war against animal activist Carole Baskin.

He now tells his prison friends that he doesn't need a hitman for Baskin anymore since she is hated by "half of America". Their rivalry formed most of Netflix's docuseries 'Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness', which has been a massive hit since its release on March 20, 2020. The series explores their tiff in detail as it also looks into allegations against Baskin.

Joe Exotic is not one to simply let go of grudges with sources revealing that even as the ex-zookeeper is behind bars, he continues to nurse his hatred against the animal rights activist. "As anyone who has watched the TV show will know Joe is a very angry man when it comes to Carole Baskin," a source from the prison revealed. "He believes he will come out of prison victorious and that he didn't even need to hire a hitman to knock her off because 'half of America' wanted to get her after watching the series."

Adding that Joe simply cannot keep himself from making such statements, the source said, "Joe just doesn't know when to shut up and claimed he wasn't actually saying HE would kill her - simply pointing out that the public had sided with him so she should watch her back."

Following this, he has been given a warning. "But he was given a stern warning and he's lost some privileges and all his outgoing mail will be assessed and checked before it's allowed to leave the facility," the source said.

After the release of the series, Baskin says she has been receiving death threats from strangers. She has been dealing with backlash ever since the docuseries claimed that she killed her husband and fed him to her tigers.

This week, the whole 'Tiger King' went to another level when producer Rick Kirkham noted that the zookeeper liked to play with lives in his own manner. "He would give people ketamine which is used for tigers to knock them out for surgery. He acted like a doctor, he acted like God, he acted like Satan depending on what day it was," he said.
