Joe Biden ‘wanders’ away from mic in first presser, conservatives slam him as ‘an extra in The Walking Dead’

Joe Biden's first-ever press conference since coming into office has been marred with criticism from conservative media outlets and pundits, as they continue to slam the president for his speech. Social media threw flak at the president for referring to cheat sheets and slammed him with the moniker 'Dementia Joe' which soon began trending on Twitter. But it was a slip up right at the beginning of answering questions that caught everyone's eye.

Initially, Biden was criticized for referring to a cheat sheet that listed all the reporters at the conference, and photos showed a select few of them pre-selected to ask questions, with a numbered sequence. Candace Owens criticized him saying, "Joe Biden had a cheat sheet with the names and faces marked of which journalists to call on, and he knew EXACTLY what questions would be asked of him." Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany also accused the media of being biased as they stood up to greet the president -- something they had allegedly never done for ex-president Donald Trump.

Biden's wandering video

To some, however, it was Biden wandering around the stage during answering questions that seemed odder. In a video released by the Gateway Pundit, Biden can be seen walking away from the podium as a reporter asks him a question. He then begins answering the question away from the podium, as he turns around to walk towards the microphone and once again stand in a still position. The Gateway Pundit alleged, "Joe Biden forgot where he was today during his first press conference."

Alt-right activist Jack Posobiec also mocked Biden's wandering saying "6 more months, tops". Users even criticized Biden's wife and FLOTUS Dr Jill Biden for allegedly putting too much on the president. One of them tweeted replying to Posobiec's tweet: "What I would like to know is how in the hell can you (yes I'm talking to you Jill Biden) as a family, put this man through all this. Clearly incapable of doing this job. Is power really worth this much? This man should be fishing!!!"

'Like an extra in 'The Walking Dead'"

Owens also alluded to Biden's alleged poor health, tweeting "Are we supposed to feign surprise when Biden announces that he’s stepping down as President to deal with health issues, or can we all honestly acknowledge that installing Kamala Harris was their plan all along? Because I’m going to need time to work on my fake-surprised face." Others replied to that, comparing the president to an extra in a zombie apocalypse.

"Absolutely," responded a user retweeting Owens' remarks. "It was the plan. Biden was wandering around the stage like an extra in ‘The Walking Dead’. He sees Kamaloser in a burka who mind controls him to the podium. Oh my, he fell somehow somewhere and she couldn’t catch him in time..tsk SHE is President!"

Another user also opined: "The rambling and wandering was def eyes catching. But was down right shocked when his response to questions about Uyghurs was not a condemnation. But started to wax nostalgicly over what a great guy XI and the CCP actually is. No doubt Biden is XI's 'SIMP.'"
