Biden claims he's in better shape than Trump, Internet says 'you need brain to make body work'

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden had a lot to say about President Donald Trump this weekend. Biden claimed that he is fitter than Trump both mentally and physically to lead the country. Biden had asked the American public to look at him and Trump and decide which one was in better shape. During an interview with CNN, Biden said, "When it comes to Donald Trump versus me: Just look at us. Okay? Just look at us. Who seems to be in shape? Who’s able to move around?" 

Trump had even nicknamed Biden as 'Sleepy Joe' with Biden laughing off the comment. He has also vowed to release any information regarding his health. Biden said, "This idea of slow Joe — anyway, Donald Trump, just look at us both, watch us, and determine whether or not you think I’m misleading anyone — not you personally, but the public."

"I guarantee you I will be totally transparent in terms of my health and all aspects of my health," he added. 

Biden's comments on who was in better shape were trolled by many social media users online across various platforms. One such user had taken to Twitter to comment and say, "'Slow Joe' Biden says he is in better shape than Trump'Just look at us'! What the hell is up with that! Joe Biden may soon need a bib to control his drooling on his necktie and something akin to 'speed' to get his body in full gear mode!"

Another user commented and shared, "Dear Mr. Biden, you asked that I take a good look at you and Donald Trump and decide who is in better shape. Sorry, President Trump wins hands-down. His energy is endless his charisma is charming and He doesn’t need pre-written questions or a Teleprompter." Yet another social media user wrote, "Good. Joe should have no problem debating the President then. No teleprompters. No ear pieces. No notes. No questions and answers ahead of time. I doubt he can stay awake past 9 pm but we will see."

"Biden argues he’s in better physical shape than Trump. 'When it comes to Donald Trump versus me: Just look at us. Okay? Just look at us,” Biden said during an interview on CNN. “Who seems to be in shape? Who’s able to move around?' Sure Joe! And I can beat Usain Bolt in the 100m," commented another user. Another user took to Twitter to share, "Joe Biden claims he's in better shape than Trump and that is true so be it but a body is not worth having if you don't have a brain to make it work."

During an interview, after announcing his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, Biden had defended his capabilities. While speaking to ABC, Biden said, "Watch me. Mr. President, watch me. Look at us both. Look at us both, what we say, what we do, what we control, what we know, what kind of shape we're in."

He had also said, "I think it's a legitimate question to ask anybody over 70 years old whether or not they're fit and whether they're ready. But I just, only thing I can say to the American people, it's a legitimate question to ask anybody. Watch me."
