Joan Collins looks fabulous at 85 as she steps out for dinner with family
The actress had adorned a beautiful ivory number as she enjoyed some quality time with her granddaughters
Dame Joan Collins may have been a sex icon in the '50s and '60s but, dare we say, she is peaking in her 80s. The actress, who played scarily frail and weak Hilda - a lonely pensioner in an old people's home - in the short film ‘Gerry,’ looked her glamorous self on Tuesday when she was spotted stepping out for dinner at the famous Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood.
The 85-year-old looked fabulous in an off-shoulder white midi-length number coupled with glittering drop earrings, an exquisite full-finger ring, and a beautiful stone bracelet. The look was complete with a black monogrammed scarf and box clutch. The photo of Collins looks all shades of fabulous was shared by Daily Mail.
The same night, she sported a very similar look – also flawless - while hanging out with her family. In the photos she shared from the evening, her granddaughters also made an appearance, which seems to have pleased her quite a bit. She captioned one of the photos, “...and the #granddaughters were there too! @jackiejcollins”
After the death of Elizabeth Taylor, Collins became the only surviving actress from the Golden Age of Hollywood to still be working and earning accolades. In fact, she revealed in an interview with Town and Country Magazine that many had predicted her career in showbiz to end by the time she hit 24.
"Everybody said to me, 'You’ll be through by the time you’re 24.' My father, all these guys in Hollywood… Over and over again, I have been told this by men. But it hasn’t been true yet!"
She will soon be seen in the eighth season of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck’s famous ‘American Horror Story,’ her character is being kept under locks that no one is willing to open until the show’s premiere. “We have all been obsessed with her forever. Joan is classic Hollywood. A legend.” Falchuk told Town and Country Magazine. “I’m mum about her character except to say we are having a lot of fun writing it.”
