Mark Zunino, the host of their A-list evening, commented, "Always a wonderful time with you two!!! Such a fun night!!! @joancollinsdbe @realjaclynsmith" "Wow you both look sensational," commented a fan. "GODDESSES," declared another. The epithet seemed apt, as neither of the stars exhibited even the slightest sign of wrinkling.
Collins sparkled in her dazzling blazer and embellished black blouse. The star's lips were painted a vibrant red, while her earrings and ring finger were encrusted with diamond jewelry. Smith looked stunning in her sleek black suit while her brunette hair cascaded down in lustrous waves, perfectly framing her ageless face.
Another Instagram post from one of the attendees, celebrity makeup artist Patrick Foley, shows Smith posing with friends. "So much fun at Rene and Mark holiday party last night with two of my closest friends @catherinebach and @realjaclynsmith two of the most kind and classy people on the planet," Foley captioned the post.
Collins played Alexis Colby on 'Dynasty' alongside Catherine Oxenberg, John Forsythe, and Michael Praed. The series aired from 1981 to 1989. On the other hand, Smith famously played Kelly Garrett on 'Charlie's Angels'. She was the only Angel to appear in each of the show's five seasons, which aired from 1976 to 1981.
Smith reflected on how the show changed her and audiences across America during an interview with People. "It was groundbreaking. It was about three emotionally and financially independent women. We shot at beautiful locations with fancy fast cars, and they cared about each other, so there was a heart to the show," Smith explained. "People said we were sexually exploited, but it was a nursery rhyme. We were in a bathing suit at the beach, and if there was a hint of a love scene, it was so proper. I think the producers were smart," she added. "They wanted to bring in that younger audience and did want families to watch together."
