Jessie James Decker attributed her children's muscular abs to genes and 'elite' fitness training on Monday, November 28 after uploading images of them on social media. On November 26, The 34-year-old American country pop singer shared a group shot of the family captioned “Vacation Decker style,” on Instagram. She posted a picture of her children Vivianne, 8, Eric Jr, 7, and Forrest, 4, posing in their swimwear having abdominal muscles, during their Thanksgiving getaway in Mexico.

"I didn't plan on addressing this because it's bonkers but the photos are out there and every single news outlet has posted about this. When I posted the pix of our vacation and included the kids being silly flexing on the beach on our thanksgiving trip I had NO clue it would get the reaction it did," Decker wrote in a post on Monday.

"But Being accused of photoshopping abs on my kids (I can't help but laugh) or … the polar opposite over ''overtraining'' our kids makes me realize how bizarre our world has gotten regarding the body and what's normal and what's not. We preach about body positivity and acceptance but my kids having a mass amount of genetic and built muscle from athletics is ''weird''?,' Decker, a 'Dancing with the Stars' alum added for her about 4.2 million followers. She further said, "I want to raise my kids to feel proud of their bodies and hard work from either Vivis elite competitive gymnastics to Eric Jr wanting to be like dad as an NFL receiver to little Forrest who spends hours dancing his heart out. Let's not pick and choose what we normalize regarding bodies and be accepting of all people and children." Decker concluded with the peace sign emoji and wrote, "'If we wanna do 'better' then do better. I'm proud of my children and encourage them to live their dreams. So we'll see y'all at the 2032 Olympics, and wearing Bubbys jersey in the stands and dancing at Forrests rock concert."

After posting images on Saturday, the singer received comments from thousands of fans applauding her children for their "ripped" bodies and referring to them as "goals." However, apart from the "strange physiques" comments by a few people, there were many who alleged that Decker photoshopped the abs into the pictures. But after her Monday's response, people have been praising the mom of three. One user said, ' LOVE THIS MAMA! As a national gymnast growing up & having a 6 pack since I was 5, I was ridiculed my whole life about my muscles, being ashamed of them my whole life. Preach it mama and show your kiddos how awesome it is to be strong❤️" Another commented, "and this is y I’m a fan of u momma, you definitely don’t skip a beat to defend what’s right! 🙏🏼 Another wrote, "This is what normal once was before kids sat in front of electronic devices all day and ate highly processed food. You’re a great mom with athletic children. Don’t let this crazy world bring you guys down. Keep shining ❤️🙌"
