Jessica Simpson, 39, has revealed that she lost a lot of weight since the birth of her third child and is super proud of her incredible journey.

The 'Blonde Ambition' actress took to Instagram to flaunt her seven-stone (100 pounds) weight loss on Tuesday. She revealed that she took only six months to shed the pounds ever since giving birth to third child Birdie Mae in March. She shared a picture of herself looking very slim and fit in a black outfit and wrote, "6 months. 100 pounds down (Yes, I tipped the scales at 240)".

She admitted that it was a bit tough to be away from her six-month-old but she kept pushing. "My first trip away from #BIRDIEMAE and emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again. Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder," Simpson shared.

Simpson has successfully managed to lose around seven stones with the help of her longtime personal trainer Harley Pasternak. The pair have worked together for around 12 years.

Many of her fans and followers flooded her Instagram with positive and encouraging comments. One fan wrote, "You always look so beautiful, but especially today. You are an absolute inspiration to all of us." While another shared, "I'm crying. I love you, Jessica! Always beautiful but I'm so proud of you!"

Simpson is married to ex NFL player Eric Johnson, 40, who used to play the tight end for the San Francisco 49ers. The couple had met in 2010 and were seen kissing while on a yacht on Jessica's 30th birthday. In 2014, the pair decided to tie the knot and have three children together—Birdie Mae Johnson, Ace Knute Johnson, 6, Maxwell Drew Johnson, 7.

When she was pregnant with her first child, she posed naked on the cover of Elle magazine and had gained around 70 pounds over the preceding nine months.
