Jessica Jaymes, porn legend and former Hustler ‘Honey of the Year’, found dead in California home aged 43
Porn star Jessica Jaymes has died at the age of 43. Jaymes' body was found at her home in San Fernando Valley, California. According to TMZ, Jaymes was found unconscious at her home on the afternoon of September 17 when a friend went over to check on her because he hadn't heard from her in a while.
The friend reportedly called 911 and reported that she seemed to have suffered a cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, Jaymes was pronounced dead at the scene. Various prescription drugs were allegedly discovered at the porn star's home by authorities.
Jaymes had a history of seizures and had completed a stint on 'Celebrity Rehab Sober House'. The LA County coroner informed Fox News that an autopsy is yet to be conducted so the actual cause of her death is presently unknown. Authorities reportedly did not find evidence of foul play.
Born in Anchorage, Alaska, to a mother who was of Czech and French descent and a father who was reportedly an undercover DEA agent, Jaymes, whose birth name was Jessica Redding, started her adult film career doing softcore porn back in 2002 at the age of 26. She got her big break two years later when she signed with Hustler, going on to receive the magazine’s 'Honey of the Year' award in 2005.
She attended New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, New Mexico, before graduating from Rio Salado Community College. Before starting her adult film career, Jaymes was an elementary school teacher for 3 years.
Jaymes was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2018 and has been featured in over 200 adult films. She also used to be an active performer on her exclusive content website. She has made appearances on HBO's 'Vivid Valley' and played herself on several episodes of the Showtime series 'Weeds'.
