Jessica Biel wants Justin Timberlake to take lie detector test after he was seen holding hands with costar Alisha Wainwright
Jessica Biel is not happy.
Last month, a picture showed her partner Justin Timberlake getting cozy with his costar Alisha Wainwright in New Orleans. And even though Alisha put out a statement denying that she was romantically involved with her costar, the actress is not convinced and wants her partner to take a lie detector test to prove his innocence.
“She’s gone from being in total shock to being livid and demanding to know what the hell is going on here,” an insider told Radar Online. "(Jessica's) trusted him in the past but this is beyond any level of acceptability, even if he was totally bombed that night."
The picture, which quickly went viral after hitting the news cycle, was clicked on November 21, when Justin and Alisha took a break from shooting their upcoming movie 'Palmer' and took a midnight trip to a bar where they enjoyed some drinks on a balcony.
During their hangout, the 30-year-old actress was spotted stroking the 'Mirrors' singer’s knee before he grabbed her hand.
Rumors of an affair were sparked after Justin was spotted not wearing his wedding ring during the outing in question and appeared to be unsteady on his feet as he put his arm around Alisha's waist.
However, soon after the photo went viral, a source at the bar told Us Weekly that the pair were "just friends."
“Several cast members were there and it was just a cast gathering,” the source said. “Nothing remotely romantic is going on with Justin and Alisha. The whole cast is shooting out there and like to hang out together. They were very much in public and nothing inappropriate was happening.”
Wainwright’s representative told the outlet in a statement: “There is no validity to this speculation. They are working on a project together.”
However, Jessica, who has had a rocky relationship with Justin, starting way back in 2007 when they first started dating, was less-than-happy after she saw the photo. “She may even put him through a lie detector test,” the source said. “He’s really humiliated her and she’s sick to her stomach about the whole incident.”
