After her brother, Josh Duggar was found guilty last month, on charges of receiving and possessing pornographic material that depicted the sexual abuse of children, Jessa Duggar's latest YouTube video has been flooded with comments from what appear to be porn accounts.

In the video posted on January 11, the 29-year-old mother-of-four revealed that she and her husband Ben Seewald purchased a new 'fixer-upper' which was being renovated before they can move in. The video has been watched nearly 300,000 times and has been flooded with congratulatory comments from fans. However, the former reality star also received comments from users with names like 'Sandy - F*** Me Check My Profile,' '[Soffy] H0T Girl L!ve Cam,' 'Mia _ T[A]P Me!! To Have [S]EX With Me' and 'Sussy - Go To My Live Channel,' each of them with profile pictures featuring scantily-clad women.

Comments from fake porn accounts on Jessa Duggar's video (YouTube)

The avatars in all of these accounts show women in lingerie, many of them with just a closeup on their torso. Most of the accounts did not seem to be fully active or functioning. And several of them seem to have posted the exact same video — a still of a nearly nude woman on top of a bed. However, the comments they left were not X-rated as they mostly congratulated Jessa and talked about her kids. However, they seem to be bot accounts as the comments by them were not unique and appeared to have been copy-pasted from other comments left by genuine fans.

What are 'Spambots'?

The accounts which commented on Jessa's post could be from 'Spambots' — YouTube pages that have nothing to do with the pages they comment on. In fact they have been created with the sole purpose of sharing links in hopes of directing traffic to other websites. At times, social media users pay companies for a bunch of fake followers. These faux-followers can come in bulk numbers and aims to make a social media account or channel appear more popular than it actually is.

On Reddit, some critics have speculated that Jessa may have bought followers but was not aware that she was getting porn accounts instead. "As someone who has done social media for a job, this is definitely bought bots," wrote one commenter. "You can buy comments from people and specifically write what you want in the comment. It will generate it from a random account also using the service and a lot of them are thirsty catfish porn accounts trying to seem legit with multiple comments from lots of different 'people,'" said another. "She just bought some bots to comment things on her video," wrote one more.

Anyone who knows anything about Jessa knows that she is a fundamentalist Christian, which includes strict rules about male-female relationships. This includes the expectation that girls and women in the family will cover up most of their skin and will dress exclusively in dresses and skirts, adding extra layers under tops that dip too low.

Jessa and Ben condemned pornography

Josh, 33, was arrested for downloading child porn in April — for which he has since been convicted. Jessa and Ben released a statement condemning pornography in "any form," following Josh's verdict. "We are saddened to hear of the charges against Josh. As Christians, we stand against any form of pornography or abuse and we desire for the truth to be exposed, whatever that may be," they said.
