'Jersey Shore' star Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi and Jionni LaValle welcome 3rd child, baby boy Angelo
Reality TV star Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi gave birth to a baby boy early on Thursday with husband Jionni LaValle. The couple named their third child Angelo James LaValle and Polizzi shared a picture of her newborn baby on Instagram. The couple is also parents to 4-year-old Giovanna Marie and 6-year-old Lorenzo Dominic.
Polizzi told People, "So thrilled to welcome baby Angelo into our little family! He is so sweet and a spitting image of Lorenzo as a baby. Jionni and I can’t wait to see how being outnumbered turns out!" The newborn baby was born at 2.30 a.m. and weighed 7 lbs., 8 oz. Polizzi and LaValle announced in November that they were expecting their child and in the following month, the couple revealed the gender of their baby.
She shared the name of the baby on Instagram in April with a post where she showed off a personalized piggy bank, teddy bear security blanket and a fleece throw blanket she’d received — all with the name Angelo printed on them. She wrote, “Look what Deena [Cortese] got me! So you guys know the name, it’s gonna be Angelo.”
Since the beginning of her trimester, Polizzi has been candid about her journey of being pregnant for the third time as she shared details about everything including a negative pregnancy test, how conceiving this time around took a little longer than she had hoped and dealing with morning sickness once she did get pregnant. She also revealed she would take just a couple of days off after giving birth to her baby and get back to work.
She said earlier, "I’m probably gonna take a couple of days off but my mental state is always thinking about work and my brand, and expanding it and improving it and making it better. So taking a day off … that stresses me out, actually."
