Social media is abuzz with Jerry Seinfeld’s latest comedy special ‘23 Hours to Kill’ which dropped on Netflix on May 5. His first stand-up comedy since 1998, it touched upon various topics including the mantra to a successful marriage.

However, when Seinfeld appeared on tonight’s (May 5) episode of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’, he spoke extensively about the proudest moment of his life, which involved throwing the first pitch for New York Mets at Citi Field.

A year ago in July, Seinfeld threw out the ceremonial first pitch ahead of Mets’ showdown against Philadelphia Phillies. His first pitch was also celebrated by giving out a bobblehead to the first 25,000 fans who arrived at the stadium. Recollecting what the comedian calls the "greatest accomplishment" point of his life, Seinfeld told Kimmel that he’s proud of his first pitch at Citi Field than anything else. However, he was absolutely not prepared for it despite having not done it ever before. Seinfeld joked as to how it was a “dead perfect strike” and that’s the style “he likes to show off”.

And, Kimmel later shared his experience of throwing the first pitch at Citi Feild, the comedian pulled his leg saying “You did very well but I don’t think you’ll get a call on it.”

The host and Seinfeld then went on to talk about the former president of the US George W Bush’s throw, and jokingly commenting on his gait saying “he was high”.

In the later segment of the show, the ‘23 Hours to Kill’ comedian discussed his relationship with wife Jessica which he says has only gotten better in the lockdown. He says how he’s been coming with the nicest way to ask things to avid clashes, including asking for his family to pass him the ketchup.

When Kimmel asked him to describe marriage in his words, Seinfeld says, “Marriage is a tone game. It’s like a game of chess, except that the board is water and pieces are smoke.” leaving the host in splits.

‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ airs on all the weekdays on ABC. you can also watch the latest home editions on Jimmy Kimmel’s official YouTube channel.
