American singer-songwriter Jeremih has contracted the deadly coronavirus and is currently being treated in the ICU at a hospital, as reported by TMZ. According to the latest updates, the 33-year-old R&B crooner is on a ventilator after his situation worsened from the virus.

The website also reported that it is unclear how long Jeremih has been in the hospital or how long he has had the virus, but the singer is not doing well. Rappers 50 Cent and Chance The Rapper took to Twitter to extend their support. While sharing a photo with Jeremih, 50 Cent tweeted, “Pray for my boy Jeremih he’s not doing good this covid shit is real.” Chance The Rapper posted, “Please if you can take a second to pray for my friend Jeremih, he is like a brother to me and he’s ill right now. I believe in the healing power of Jesus so if you can for me please please say a prayer over him.” Rapper Big Sean also took to Twitter and shared, “Prayers up, praying for your strength  @Jeremih”  Renowned music producer Metro Boomin said, “Praying for my dawg @Jeremih” Singer-songwriter Trey Songz also logged in to the micro-blogging site and stated, “@Jeremih we love you and we praying for you!” Hitmaka tweeted:  "Now with Jeremih I’m lost cause the man literally saved my life! I say it publicly whenever I can cause I feel like the world never gave him his flowers & hes influenced so many of us.



 



 



 



 



 



 

Jeremih, who is known for his hit singles like ‘Down on Me,’ and ‘Don't Tell ‘Em,’ among a few others, has been in the music game since 2008. With four studio albums to his name and a few awards, the Def Jam signed artist has a net worth of $2 million to $3 million, as published by the website Celebrity Net Worth.

His debut single ‘Birthday Sex’ (which was also recorded in French) reached at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 which allowed him to pocket good money.
