Jennifer Lopez flaunts stunning curves in palm leaf dress recreating 2000 Grammys outfit at Versace 2020 show
Jennifer Lopez got a standing ovation from onlookers at the Versace show 2020 for recreating one of her most famous red carpets looks.
Lopez recreated her look at the Versace Spring/Summer 2020 presentation at the Milan Fashion Week on September 20. The 50-year-old drew inspiration from the 2000 Grammy Awards but wore a much more revealing piece as she walked the runway.
She sported a printed green dress that featured a plunging neckline with a matching cape. Lopez set the runway on fire with her powerful strut as the train of the dress flowed behind. From her previous look to her current one, JLO looks like she has not aged a day.
Her hair had been styled into the same blow-dried sweptback do as she stormed the runway. Versace marked 20 years since the original dress had been shown on the runway. Later in the show, Lopez was joined by designer Donatella Versace.
Recently, Lopez had spoken about the famous gown in a video uploaded on her YouTube channel. She had said: "All of a sudden you start hearing a little murmur. I'm thinking, it's the Grammys. It has to be somebody famous behind us. It was a frenzy. The flashes started going in a way that it's not usually. There was an extra kinetic energy there. I was like what the hell is going on? I had no idea it was about this dress."
The actress' performance in her latest crime drama film 'Hustlers' has been widely praised. While doing an interview with Today host Hoda Kotb on SiriusXM radio, she got emotional while speaking about awards chatter and the reviews the film had received.
"I've just been working hard for so long, for my whole life. It's nice," she said. "Sorry, you guys know I'm emotional!"
