Airika and Demetrius Visaya: Couple recalls moment they waited alongside JLo and Ben Affleck for wedding license
Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck tied the knot on July 16, as confirmed by the singer in her newsletter 'On The JLo'. The couple got married at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas and were in line waiting with four other couples. According to Jennifer Affleck's newsletter, there was a couple who made a three-hour drive from Victorville on their daughter's second birthday and were waiting along with them in the queue. This couple, identified as Airika Visaya and Demetrius Visaya, has now decided to speak about the highlight of their wedding -- waiting to get married alongside the Afflecks!
The couple told KABC they were shocked to see the A-list celebrity couple at the chapel. Demetrius began, "Airika turned around and looked at the door and she was like 'Oh my God. That's Ben Affleck and J. Lo." Airika continued, "He didn't believe me. I knew instantly when I saw J. Lo. Like that's J. Lo! Everybody wanted to run back there and try to see them," Airika said. "I was like we're gonna miss our wedding!" Keeping all the excitement aside, the couple headed towards their new journey merely 10 minutes before midnight.

The couple was somewhere in Victorville celebrating their two-year-old's birthday with a Batman-themed party. Surrounded by somewhat 20 people, the plan of someday getting married turned into a reality and the couple's family loaded up 5 cars and headed towards the venue. It's ironic how the Batman-themed party soon led to the couple meeting the actor who's played the role before. Airika continued explaining how this impromptu wedding was better than any lavish event, saying, "Most people want to have a huge wedding, but the way our story turned out was 100 times better than any wedding we could've spent thousands of dollars on."
Inside Bennifer's wedding
In her newsletter, Jennifer mentions the couple. She writes, "Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world. Behind us, two men held hands and held each other." She then mentions Airika Visaya and Demetrius Visaya saying, "In front of us, a young couple who made the three-hour drive from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday—all of us wanting the same thing— for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage."

Chapel coordinator Kenosha Booth was a witness to the lowkey wedding and she told Good Morning America, "It was so exciting. I mean, we were getting ready to close and we had a special guest arrive as a walk-in. I started shaking a little bit, you know, 'Oh my God this is Jennifer Lopez we are getting ready to marry.' She had on a nice, elegant, beige, lacy-type dress. It had a train on it. The veil was beautiful. Everything was very sleek and beautiful. She was stunning," Kenosha said. She had a beautiful bouquet, white bouquet, that she had, and he had a boutonniere as well that matches that. She also revealed that the couple was 'emotional' and 'cried' during the ceremony.
