Bill Gates' daughter Jennifer announces pregnancy on Thanksgiving as she flaunts baby bump in green dress
NORTH SALEM, NEW YORK: Jennifer Gates is expecting her first child with her husband Nayel Nassar, as the daughter of billionaire Bill Gates posed with her baby bump on Instagram. She captioned the post, "Thankful" while standing next to Nayel, 31, in an emerald green dress. The couple posed with the backdrop of the family’s 142-acre estate in North Salem, New York. In the following snap, the 26-year-old was seen radiating while looking down at her bump as she posed in the garden.
Melinda French Gates, 58, grandmother-to-be commented on the post saying, “I couldn't be more excited to meet this little one and watch you two become parents.” Bill Gates and Melinda, who divorcedin 2021 after 27 years of marriage will be welcoming their first grandchild with Jennifer and Nayel’s baby. Both parents were present to walk Jennifer down the aisle in 2021, as they kept their differences at bay after their high-profile divorce. In her interview with Vogue, Jennifer said, “It’s been a challenging year, both collectively with the pandemic and for our families going through transitions. But our love for one another has been a constant. Being able to celebrate our wedding with our closest friends and family was a dream come true.”

Jennifer also shared a photo that was taken just after she and Nayel were pronounced husband and wife as they walked down the aisle in October 2021. It was taken after they completed the second wedding ceremony, taking vows as per Muslim customs in the garden of the family’s 142-acre estate in North Salem, New York. The wedding was attended by individuals from all arenas, where it was reported to be a $2 million event. It is estimated that at least 300 guests were in attendance for the wedding, reported the Daily Mail.
Jennifer posted the wedding photo on her social media handle on and captioned it, “My universe 10.16.21.” Melinda also celebrated by sharing a picture from the special day, and wrote, “What a joy to celebrate the light and love of @jenniferkgates and @nayelnassar this past weekend. So grateful we were able to find a way to safely gather for this special day.” In the photograph, the pair were seen posing together outdoors, as per the report.
Melinda in her latest interview with Fortune had opened up about her divorce from Bill, “I had some reasons I just couldn’t stay in that marriage anymore.” She explained, “But the odd thing about COVID is that it gave me the privacy to do what I needed to do. It’s unbelievably painful, in innumerable ways, but I had the privacy to get through it.”
