Jennifer Aniston wishes Courteney Cox happy birthday with throwback picture of them kissing
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On Thursday, July 15, Courteney Cox turned 59. To mark the occasion, Jennifer Aniston, who is also her best friend, wished her a happy birthday on Instagram. 'The Morning Show' star posted an old photo of the besties kissing in Los Angeles in 1995.
She also shared more recent pictures. Aniston's Instagram caption started with, "I'd like to take a moment to wish my dearest CC the happiest of birthdays." She added, "If you've been lucky enough to know her, you know how incredible she is. The biggest heart and most generous of humans. I love you, Cox-N-Hammer! Happy Birthday."
When 'Friends' began production in 1994, the two grew close. Cox was already a well-known celebrity at the time, whilst Aniston was still relatively unknown. The duo shared a friendship that continued much after the end of 'Friends' and Courteney even made Anniston the godmother of her daughter Coco.
Coco's 19th Birthday was the day before, and Courteney wished her a happy birthday. Cox shared many old pictures of her daughter and a touching note to commemorate her birthday. She wrote, "Happy Birthday Cocolicious! I love you and your sweet, caring, sensitive, spicy, original, salty, witty, beautiful heart," and Aniston also clicked the like button on the post.
'She's going to go as far away from L.A'
It appears that Courteney's daughter is spending the summer at home after college. On Ellen last year, Courteney hinted that Coco will be attending college outside of her hometown. Cox said, "She's going to go as far away from LA as she can get. We are so close, but she just can't wait to go away and live on her own. It's sad," as reported by Daily Mail.
Courteney Cox's early life
On June 15th, 1964, Courteney Cox was born in Birmingham, Alabama, into a prosperous Southern family. She is the child of businessman Richard Lewis Cox (1930–2001) and Courteney Copeland. She is the youngest of four children, with two older sisters, Virginia and Dorothy, and an older brother, Richard Jr. She spent her childhood in Mountain Brook, Alabama, a posh social community. Since Courteney was very close to her father, it was understandable that she was distraught when her parents got divorced and her father relocated to Florida in 1974. She took acting courses while modeling, since being an actress was her true desire and aspiration. She was cast as a young debutante named Bunny in a brief role in a 1984 episode of 'As the World Turns'.
