Jennifer Aniston's ex-husband Justin Theroux extends support to actress after she announces father's death

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Aniston was supported by her ex-husband Justin Theroux after she announced the demise of her father John Aniston on Monday, November 14, 2022.

The 'Friends' actress paid an emotional tribute to her father after revealing that he had died on Friday, November 11. The star was inundated with support from her famous friends, among them being her ex-husband Theroux. The former couple was married from 2015 to 2018 and have remained on good terms since they parted ways. The actor commented on his ex-wife's heartfelt message for her dad on Instagram, leaving a red heart emoticon.

"Sweet papa…⁣ John Anthony Aniston.⁣ You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew," Aniston wrote in her message to her father. "I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace - and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now. I'll love you till the end of time." Alongside the message, the 'We're The Millers' star shared a series of photos of herself and her father together through the years, beginning from her childhood to the present day.



 

The other popular figures who offered support to the star included Aniston's former 'Friends' co-star Lisa Kudrow, who also replied with a love heart emoticon. Lily Collins added, "Sending all the love and light possible and hugs I could possibly give." Reese Witherspoon, who stars alongside Jennifer in 'The Morning Show', said, "Sending you all my angels. I love you sister." Meanwhile, Gal Gadot and Kevin Bacon also left red heart emoticons in the comments section, Hello! magazine reported.

Aniston previously honored her father at the 2022 Daytime Emmy Awards in June 2022. She made a virtual appearance at the annual awards to pay tribute to the 'Days of Our Lives' star. "This is truly a special moment for me," she said. "It's an opportunity to not only pay tribute to a true icon in the daytime television world, but it's also a chance to recognize the lifelong achievements of a great and well-respected actor, who also happens to be my dad," she continued.



 

The tribute came after John was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for his 37-year portrayal of Victor Kiriakis on the long-running soap opera. "John Aniston has been working in television consistently for over half a century," the actress gushed before listing her father's accomplishments and screen credits. "You name it, I'm sure he's been on it," she quipped. "For over 30 years, his dedication to that show has gained him the respect and admiration of his fellow actors, deep friendships, and thrilled millions of fans around the world. His career is literally the definition of lifetime achievement," the actress concluded.

The actress revealed in an interview with Allure that she had gotten in-vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures done "several years ago" and that getting pregnant had been a "challenging road" for her. Theroux had commented positively on a series of shots she posted from a photoshoot for the interview.
