Jennifer Aniston made Brad Pitt wait 9 months for sex before he built 'kinky marble bathtub' at Beverly Hills home
Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were always a match made in Hollywood heaven with their stunning good looks and illustrious acting careers.
The duo was set up on a date by their agents in early 1998. According to Jennifer, they "both knew" from that moment on they'd found someone special as they hunkered down in her two-bedroom bachelorette pad in Hollywood Hills.
"It was a little love nest," the 51-year-old star once told Vanity Fair. "From the second date, we just huddled into this little house. We wound up sitting on the couch and ordering in, having steak and mashed potatoes. That's how it all began." “It was one of those weird feelings where you just kind of know," she continued. "You feel like you're hanging out with your buddy. There was something very familiar about it. This was just very much meant to be."
Just five months later, Brad popped the question -- something they chose to keep a secret. "That was so fun, just to have that be our own secret," Jen added.
But a source told The Mirror how Jen refused Brad's advances for at least nine months, unlike most newly engaged couples who would get it on at the drop of a hat. She allegedly feared that getting intimate too soon would ruin their dreamy relationship.
“It was the wisest thing Jennifer could have done. Imagine telling Brad Pitt to wait for sex,” a friend claimed at the time. “It had never happened – at least not in his recent lifetime.”
However, the couple allegedly finally got it on during a romantic weekend in Acapulco, Mexico, on Valentine's Day 1999. It was just five months before they would tie the knot. “He found her irresistible,” the source added.
Brad once admitted he only had one thing on his mind when he revamped the bathroom of their Beverly Hills home by adding a giant marble bathtub. “The bathroom was the first thing in the house I worked on at the time when Jen and I were really hooking up strong,” the Fight Club star revealed to W magazine in 2001. “Things are on your mind… and I guess I had a dirty mind at the time.”
But as fate would have it, Brad fell in love with actress Angelina Jolie on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2005, following which he and Jen would go their separate ways. However, they allegedly reconnected after Brad and Angelina divorced in 2016 and went on a series of dates, according to friends.

Speaking to The Mirror, a close friend of the former Friends star said Jen and Brad had enjoyed at least five secret dates following his separation with Jolie. They allegedly also met at Jen's home on Christmas eve.
“I don’t think she’s ever really stopped loving him, even though he broke her heart when he left her for Angelina Jolie," the source said. “It has taken a long time but she has forgiven him for everything – forgiveness has been a big part of them moving on.”
“All he can talk about is Jen. They have reignited their romance and I haven’t seen either of them this happy in years," a long-time associate of Brad’s movie production company Plan B reportedly confirmed to the outlet.
