Jenna Dewan 'felt blindsided' when Channing Tatum swiftly moved on with singer Jessie J after their 10-year marriage
Even though Jenna Dewan has moved on and is dating Steve Kazee, she revealed that she felt blindsided by her estranged husband Channing Tatum.
Dewan shared that she was a bit shocked when she found out that Tatum had moved on with singer Jessie J. In her new book titled 'Gracefully You: Finding Beauty And Balance In The Everyday', the 38-year-old wrote more about the matter.
According to RadarOnline, she had written, "There I was, on a plane, alone, finding out about his new relationship. I felt blindsided." She got to know about Tatum's relationship only months after separating from Tatum whom she had been married to for around 10 years.
The former couple also shares a 6-year-old daughter Everly. Dewan also revealed that Tatum had given her no notice that the news of his relationship with Jessie J was going to break. She found out at the same time as the rest of the world which she recalls as being 'difficult'.
She shared how she had initially written some tweets about what she was going through but had decided not to post them online. "Instead of reacting the way I wanted…I asked myself this: How do I choose grace in this moment?" she wrote in her new book.
Dewan and Tatum had announced that they were going their separate ways in April last year and she had filed for divorce in October. Tatum and his new love Jessie J were spotted together that very same month while Dewan moved on with actor Steve Kazee. Dewan and Kazee are now expecting a child together.
Dewan is now set to host Fox's new Flirty Dancing dating series which will be released this winter. She took to her Instagram to share, "I am so thrilled to be a part of this fun, fresh and crazy heartwarming show! More to come soon!"
