'Today' co-host Jenna Bush Hager was slammed for calling Kim Kardashian's daughter North's birthday bash "over the top", with many saying it was "none of her business."

Kardashian, 41, shared pics from the pre-teen's “spooky wilderness-themed” birthday party on social media earlier this week. Among the guests were North's cousin Penelope Disick and Jessica Simpson's daughter Maxwell. The party took place in the SKIMS founder's private jet which was adorned with “Camp North” balloons and signs. Each seat inside the craft had two pillows made to resemble logs while fake spiderwebs covered the jet's ceiling.

Bush Hager -- who has three kids with her husband Brian Hager, namely Mila, 9, Poppy, 6, and Hal, 2 -- criticized Kardashian on Thursday's episode of the 'Today' show. She blasted the fashion mogul for throwing an extravagant party for her daughter's ninth birthday. “I have a 9-year-old, she did not have a party like this,” the 40-year-old said. “Because, y’all, this party was over the top!"

Kardashian spoke of the bash during a recent appearance on 'The Tonight Show' with Jimmy Fallon. “[North] wanted to have a spooky wilderness-themed party,” she told the host “I took them out camping.” The reality TV star shared glimpses on social media of Kourtney’s 9-year-old daughter, Penelope, and other guests wearing matching pajamas, rafting, and playing outdoors. North and her pals had their beds decorated with deer heads and fake blood, Page Six reported.

“She’s really into special effects makeup. She does really good wounds and scars,” Kardashian said of her daughter while talking about the party. “She was taking classes … and she wanted to teach her girlfriends [with mannequin heads].” The trip included several fun activities such as zip-lining, rope courses, mini tents, and archery in the woods. Jessica Simpson's daughter Maxwell, 10, was also spotted in the party pics. “One of Maxwell’s best friends is North,” the actress told Us Weekly in April, noting how they “just recently” played on a basketball team coached by her husband, Eric Johnson. “She is amazing,” the 'Employee Of The Month' star gushed about North. “She is amazing. She is a great kid, and she will be a part of a change in this world.”

Speaking of the lavish party, comedian Michelle Buteau, who was filling in for 'Today' co-host Hoda Kotb, agreed with Hager's remarks. She said that she appreciated the "inspiration" behind the bash but would stick with a "low budget version of that." Harger concurred, "100 percent," before Buteau called the birthday party "extravagant upon extravagant.”

Kardashian fans blasted Bush Hager's comments, with many saying it was "none of her business" what the makeup mogul did with her money.

"Jenna Bush Hager. Jealous. Pitifully trying to pick on pre-teens. Less thoughtful about her own kid’s celebrations, ammiright @KimKardashian," one tweeted. "Y'all Bushes are hypocrites!! Kim made her money. None of anybody's business how she spends it on her kids!! Your father wasted billions fighting fake wars!!" another alleged.

"All the brown kids killed in the Middle East during her dad's presidency don't get to celebrate their birthday," a comment read. "I don't understand why people think that's so over the top. I'm actually surprised it's not more over the top than that. That was just awesome, honestly," someone else added. "I mean as much as I want to shame them for doing this, I'm also wondering if id so this for my kids if I was a billionaire? The answer is yes," another chimed in.
