Jenna Bush Hager shares adorable photos of 9-week-old son Henry 'Hal' Harold: 'The sweetest Hal-pal in the whole world'
Jenna Bush Hager cannot seem to get enough of her adorable baby boy.
The 37-year-old 'Today' show co-anchor took to Instagram to share new pictures of her 9-week-old son, Henry 'Hal' Harold, in a variety of poses. The photos are an overload of cuteness we all deserve to see. Jenna captioned the picture, "Two months (and a day!!) with the sweetest Hal-pal in the whole world".
The first shot of Baby Hal features him sound asleep. In the next one, he had his arms raised. The third picture showcased him in the middle of a yawn with his arms open wide. The final picture was a black-and-white picture of Jenna cuddling her bundle of joy.
The pictures were captured by photographer Nathan Congleton.
Jenna and her husband Henry Hager welcomed baby Hal, who is their third child and first son, on August 2, 2019.
The mother-of-three shared that they were overcome with joy. "We are overcome with joy to welcome Henry Harold ‘Hal’ Hager into this world!” she said, according to People.
The baby's first and middle name was derived from family backgrounds, but his cute little nickname was a gift from his two big sisters, 4-year-old Poppy Louise and 6-year-old Margaret 'Mila' Laura.
Jenna said, "His sisters are thrilled to have a little brother and already nicknamed his nickname, exclaiming, ‘Welcome to the world, Hal-pal!"
Three days after Baby Hal's birth, during a call-in to the 'Today' show, Jenna shared, "We weren’t exactly sure about the name, but then his big sisters arrived and they called him Hal-pal. So we thought, ‘This is just perfect!’"
Talking to People during the George H W Bush Points of Light Awards Gala in New York, Jenna's close friend and Today co-anchor Savanna Guthrie shared that she has gotten to meet Baby Hal and thought he was adorable. "I think he looks like Jenna but then the last few days he started looking a little bit like Henry. She is just so chill. I can’t believe she is a mother of three and handles it all so well. She is doing great. But we cannot wait until she comes back to the show. I know Hoda [Kotb] misses her a lot!” Guthrie added.
