SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: A DJ's devastating farewell post showed him thanking his fans for a "wonderful life" and a "great journey" before his inexplicable disappearance. According to authorities, Jeffrey 'JV' Vandergrift, a well-known radio presenter for Wild 94.9 who co-hosted the Doghouse show in the 1990s and 2000s, has been missing since Thursday, February 23 night, and is currently thought to be in danger.

Vandergrift is described as a bald, six-foot-tall man who weighs 180 pounds, with brown eyes, tattoos on his arms, and a tattoo above his right ear. The San Francisco Police said he was last seen at his house at 10 pm at the 200 Block of King Street in San Francisco.

Your support & prayers meant the world. Keep shinin’ love=compassion=understanding =truth=forgiveness=peace=and hope=for others," as reported by The US Sun.

Vandergrift published the image on Twitter with the same caption, and it appears that she did so in honor of National Radio Day. "It's #NationalRadioDay I know, who gives a fart!!? Been at 94 since 94. Wow, that’s a long time!! Super grateful for each of you who have been on this journey w me," as reported by The Mercury News.

'I hope he’s okay!!'

The DJ's supporters expressed their concern for his safety in the comments area of the Instagram posts. One Instagram user wrote, "Omg…. His caption was edited 15hrs ago……. I hope he’s okay!!" Another said, "Dear JV. You are loved. We are all praying for you and thinking about you. 🙏🏽 sometimes it’s nice to just get away and clear our minds but we are worried about you. Please call Natasha or someone you trust. Be safe and please know we’re all praying for your safe return." A third commented, "JV….. listen to your listeners. We’ve been listening to you since the 1990’s. Now it’s your turn to listen to your listeners. You are so loved!! We still need 40 plus years of listening to you on the radio ! "We’re working closely with them and his wife, Natasha, who is also a dear friend and member of the WiLD 94.9 family. We are sending love, thoughts, and prayers to JV and will share more information as we receive it."
