Donald Trump supporters have been a busy lot since the results of the election came in. Brittany Aldean, the wife of country singer Jason Aldean, is now in the headlines and it is not because of her husband's musical prowess but because of her staunch support for the president.

She is getting slammed for complaining about Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election. On Saturday, November 7, she posted an Instagram Story standing up for Trump supporters. Her Saturday story came days after she faced severe criticism on the Internet from the supporters of the president-elect for sharing a post.

The 32-year-old shared a video on the social media platform on the weekend that showed off her blue sweatshirt with Trump’s name on it next to an American flag. The caption of it read, “... STILL MY PRESIDENT.” In her next post, she shared a note writing that due to the online criticism she faced has led to many Trump supporters to send her private messages since they fear to lose their job or status. “I WILL CONTINUE TO SPEAK. FOR THE PEOPLE THAT MESSAGE ME AND AREN’T ABLE (FOR FEAR OF LOSING BUSINESS OR FRIENDS) IT IS DISGUSTING TO ME THAT ‘FREEDOM OF SPEECH’ APPLIES TO EVERYONE BUT REPUBLICANS,” Brittany explained in the post that came along with a heart sticker that read “you are not alone.”

But people on Twitter is still criticizing for her making a stand as one said, “Can someone tell the homewrecking w***e Brittany Aldean to stfu and stop creating more divisiveness???” The second user wrote: “It is disgusting to me that ‘freedom of speech’ applies to everyone but republicans” - @BrittanyAldean PREACH IT”. The third user commented, “People like Brittany Aldean, Jason Aldean, Chase Rice and Chris Lane are furthering divisiveness. They have the right to be conservative but not at the expense of furthering division and hate. While empowering a fan base that is predominantly white conservatives.”

“I used to love Brittany Aldean, but now? Nauseated faceNauseated faceWoozy face I absolutely hit that unfollow button,” said a person on Twitter. Another one tweeted, “Brittany Aldean is so butt hurt claiming that republicans are the only ones who can’t have free speech. But how about instead of whining you explain why you support a racist, homophobic, sexist piece of shit???”

According to Fox News, Brittany first faced the backlash when she posted a picture of her son, Memphis, which showed him covering his face with his hands and not looking happy. She wrote in the caption, “Me too, Memphis... me too. How I feel watching this election😳🤯🥵🤭”. But after getting slammed, she shared two more posts. The first one was of her son dancing along to a hymn, the caption of which stated, “Since a lot of y’all need JESUS, here ya go.” Another photo was of her child in which she stated, “I’m gonna keep posting cute pics until everyone stops arguing on my page. Lol (that’d be a lot of cute pics) but forreal y’all... just look at the little sweet face and smile☺”.
