"8 years married and forever to go. Happy Anniversary, my love!!!!" wrote Brittany in her Instagram post, captioning a smiling selfie with Jason as well as a photo of flowers, wine bottles, and a shopping bag from Saint Laurent that he presumably gifted her. The country music star responded, "U got that right!" "That's right, girl. Eight years ago you got all this. You're welcome," replied Jason.
The couple, who got married on March 21, 2015, has a 5-year-old son named Memphis and a 4-year-old daughter named Navy. Jason married his ‘American Idol 'alum wife in a gorgeous seaside ceremony in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, US Weekly reported in 2015. The two stars said "I do" in front of friends and family members, including Aldean's daughters Keeley, 12, and Kendyl, 7, from his previous marriage.
As the magazine reported, Kerr made Aldean cry as she came down the aisle barefoot to John Legend's 'All of Me' in a gorgeous long-sleeve lace Pnina Tornai gown. He remarked, "She looked wonderful. I was ecstatic to see her.”
Ups and downs of the Aldeans
When Jason and Brittany started dating in September 2012, he was still wed to Jessica Ussery. It caused quite a stir when the 'Dirt Road Anthem' singer was seen making out with Brittany at a bar in September 2012. At the time, he had already been married to Ussery for more than ten years. He made an official statement regarding what transpired with the aspiring singer who competed on season 11 of ‘American Idol'.
The 'Got What I Got' singer talked about his commitment to his family in January 2020 after reflecting on his prior successes and failures in relationships. “I think it’s something that I’ve gotten a grip on a little, the older I’ve gotten and the longer I’ve been in the business. I think I’ve finally, after all these years, got it figured out now,” he told Us Weekly.
