Now fans walk out of Janet Jackson's New Zealand show as tour Down Under turns into nightmare for pop icon
Fans and followers have walked out of another Janet Jackson gig after complaining about terrible 'audio issues' at a concert in New Zealand.
The 'Made For You' singer was seen performing at the Friday Jams Live event in Auckland on Sunday when members of the audience started to walk out of the gig. People were not at all impressed with Jackson's vocals and also claimed that the star "couldn't keep up". The walk-out comes very soon after Jackson was called out for lip-synching during RNB Fridays in Perth and Brisbane last week.
As reported by Stuff, Jackson had reportedly tapped her audio pack while performing at Western Springs stadium, but it did not look as though she was lip-syncing. The performance had resulted in several concert goers walking out in masses as she performed 'Best Things in Life Are Free'.
One concert goer had even yelled out 'Jackson is s***' while they were leaving the venue. According to Fox News, another concertgoer shared, "When Janet Jackson came on it was just a disaster. Her sound was just terrible. She would be singing and then all of a sudden just do random stuff". A third fan chimed in, "It was the worst performance of the night and probably the worst I've seen".
A reviewer of the concert had shared with WA Today that Jackson seemed to have very low energy. The critic had written that there were "audio problems, with her lip-syncing painfully out of sync with the music and her performance lacking energy".
According to others, Jackson was dancing around and trying to keep the mic over her lips so people could not see that she was lip-syncing. She also kept putting her hair all over her face.
Fans had also slammed the 'Black Eyed Peas' for starting their set around thirty minutes later than what they were scheduled to.
