Carole Baskin allowed the world to see a different side to her when she appeared on 'Dancing With The Stars'. Even though she did not stay in the show for long, Baskin has managed to appeal to a large audience. The 'Tiger King' star had revealed she wanted to come on the show to allow people to see her for who she was, and not what they had seen on television.

While speaking to Pink News, Baskin opened up about her sexuality. “I have always considered myself to be bisexual, even though I’ve never had a wife. I could just as easily have a wife as a husband as far as the way I feel about ‘us,'” she said. “I think we’re all one…I just don’t see us being different genders or different colors or different anything. It’s not a matter of what your sexual preferences are.”

Baskin confessed while growing up she wondered if she was "born in the wrong body" as she was a "tomboy". "I was always very male-oriented in the things I did… I never had any mothering instincts or anything, you know, I never played with dolls. And so I always thought that there was something off there, that I couldn’t quite put my finger on," she said.

“But it was during the ’80s that I discovered that through dealing with the LGBT+ community that I realized I had just as equal feelings for women as I did for men.” She first became close to the LGBT+ community in the 1980s when she was engaged to a psychologist. “It was during the period when AIDS was just wreaking havoc around the world, and people were losing their loved ones, and so I became very close to people in that community then," she said. Baskin's statement on being bisexual surprised a few. Jane Lynch, who is known for her acting and hosting skills, was quick to react.

She stated, "Are trying to make my dreams come true?" in one of the tweets that highlighted the news of Baskin coming out as bisexual. People were quick to react to this as one wrote, "Now I want to see a movie w/ Jennifer Coolidge as Carole & Jane as the girlfriend/tiger wrangler/trainer." "Jane NO NO NO NO please add sarcasm font Twitter, I can’t do this," another said. "I had to read these three times miss lynch what are you doing here," another shocked fan wrote.
