LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The 85-year-old actress and activist Jane Fonda has made a shocking confession about her dating life.

During an appearance in the 'Absolutely Not' podcast hosted by Heather McMahan, which came out last month, Fonda revealed that she will date only 20-year-olds.

Her bombshell confession came when asked about her dating life in her 80s. She said, "I'm ashamed to say this, but if I were to take a lover, he'd have to be 20."

The Academy Award winner will turn 86 on December 21.

Jane Fonda does not like 'old skin'

In the podcast, the Hollywood legend opened up that she is basically retired from the bedroom at this age.

"I'm done, I'm over, I'm 86 years old, even in the dark I wouldn't want to be naked in front of anybody," she initially said with laughter.

When asked about why she mentioned 20 specifically, the 'Book Club' actress said, "Because I don't like old skin."

"And consequently, I don't want to foist that on anybody else. I assume other people are like me, I just don't like old skin," she added.

However, Fonda emphasized that she does not accept such a large age gap while dating.

"I disapprove of 86-year-old men with 20-year-old women, so I'm not going to repeat it. I can ogle them, and I can't pretend that I don't get turned on if I see a certain kind of a person, but no, no, no, I don't want to force that on anybody."

The '9 to 5' star has been married thrice: first to director Roger Vadim (1965-1973), then to activist Tom Hayden (1973-1990), and finally to CNN founder Ted Turner (1991-2001). Fonda also said, "There'll never be another one," and that Turner was her last husband.

'Goodluck with that': Internet trolls Jane Fonda

Netizens are trolling and bashing Fonda over her expectations of dating a young person, with many wishing her good luck in finding someone.
