LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jamie Foxx's representative said Hollywood journalist A J Benza's claim of the 'Ray' star being "partially paralyzed and blind" from taking the Covid-19 vaccine is "completely inaccurate." He was admitted to a hospital in April following a "medical complication."

On April 12, the 55-year-old's daughter Corinne Foxx took to Instagram to issue a statement addressing her father's health crisis. The 29-year-old shared that while filming the Netflix movie 'Back in Action' in Atlanta, he "experienced a medical complication." In her Instagram statement, she also mentioned that "due to quick action and great care," the comedian was "on his way to recovery" at that point and then dismissed a news report claiming that their family was preparing for the "worst."

'Sad to see how the media runs wild'

Following the reports that claimed her father's health was declining, Corinne gave an update on his hospitalization. "Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My father has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support!" she wrote, and added, "We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!" she added.

'There is a great shroud of secrecy around Jamie Foxx'

During the appearance on David Drew Pinsky's 'Ask Dr Drew' podcast, New York Daily News columnist Benza claimed that an insider revealed to him the reality behind Foxx's health struggles. "Jamie had a blood clot in his brain after he got the shot. He did not want the shot, but the movie he was on, he was pressured to get it," he said.

"The blood clot in the brain caused him at that point to be partially paralyzed and blind. I am thinking, 'Is that why he blew up on the set a week before this medical emergency happened?' 'Is that why he fired three or four people because he had had it with these mandates?," Benza asked Pinsky.

Talking about Corinne's statement, Benza explained why he thinks the claims were not believable. "If you read into what they were saying early on, 'He is communicating with us.' That doesn’t mean talking. That could be anything. Writing. Sign language. I know those little code words. Then you tell me your father is playing pickleball, give me a break. There is a great shroud of secrecy around Jamie Foxx," the veteran journalist alleged, according to OK Magazine.
