John Boyega said he chatted with Foxx on the phone

The health update on Foxx's slow recovery comes after his 'They Cloned Tyrone' co-star John Boyega revealed that he chatted with the actor on the phone and said he was doing well. "He finally picked up the phone. Thank you, bro. He's doing well. And then, you know, we just gave him the privacy, and we can't wait for his return," Boyega said on Tuesday during the movie's premiere in Los Angeles.

My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating," Corinne wrote on May 12 on her Instagram story as she shared a report that claimed Foxx's family was preparing for "the worst."

"In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support! We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!", she added.
