There is a reason why Sean Connery comes to our mind before any other actor when the iconic character James Bond is remembered. Not only was he the first actor to portray the role based on Ian Fleming’s 1953 novel, but Connery also appeared in seven Bond films from ‘Dr No’ in 1962 to ‘Never Say Never Again’ in 1983. While his impeccable acting skills headline the films, what made one of his movies more special was the fact that it was shot in his own house, offering a glimpse of his personal life. Yes, you heard it right. If that caught your attention, you ought to know more about Connery’s former home, which is now up for a sale.

His French home was used to film several scenes for the 1983 film 'Never Say Never Again'. After living in Spain for a couple of years, Connery moved to the villa, which came with the views overlooking the city of Nice. It rests in a property that stretches over one acre and includes terraces that extend all the way to the sea, surrounded by strips of lush lawn. A saltwater pool at the edge offers a view of Nice, the Promenade des Anglais, and the Old Port. The house consists of two two-bedroom guest houses.

The dining and kitchen located on the lower floor open to a beautiful garden. The main level has the family room and kitchenette, whereas the upper-level master suite consists of a dressing room and a private balcony.
