‘I’ve been silently battling’: Lisa Rinna’s daughter Delilah Hamlin opens up about her health struggles
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Settling all those speculations and rumors related to her health, Delilah Belle Hamlin has finally opened up and talked in detail about her struggles. On Wednesday, January 25, the model revealed that she had been fighting autoimmune and chronic illnesses, including Lyme disease, encephalitis, Epstein-Barr virus, and Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS). In her story, Hamlin shared a photograph with an IV in her arm, and wrote, "I haven't really spoken on my health lately & if you're new here you're probably confused but for the past few years I've been struggling with autoimmune/ chronic illness issues that I've been silently battling and overcoming.”
The 24-year-old continued, "It's definitely been tough mentally alongside physically. I've kind of kept quiet because I don't want to be put in a 'sick' role. I've faced a lot, overcome a lot, and I know that I'm going through this for a reason and that reason is to share what I've gone through and what I've learned with you." Hamlin also sounded optimistic and shared a quote from televangelist Joel Osteen, which read, "'When you feel as though the pressure is too much, it's because you're stronger than you think. You'll never discover how strong you really are until you face pressure that you've never faced. It may seem unbearable, but the fact that God allowed it means you can handle it.'" Hamlin then thanked and acknowledged the care she received from the Los Angeles Dripp IV therapy.

Earlier, in November 2021, Hamlin shared that she suffered from an accidental overdose after mixing a prescription medicine, named Propranolol with Benadryl. Moreover, the star also claims that she developed Xanax dependency after her psychiatrist overprescribed her the antidepressant. "He overprescribed me with one medication that one of my friends takes like 10 milligrams, and he gave me like 20 milligrams three times a day and then he gave me 3 milligrams of Xanax a day," revealed RHOBH star Lisa Rinna’s daughter in one of her Instagram Live at the time, as per People.
"So my body got dependent on Xanax number one, and number two, I overdosed. I didn't mean to at all. I overdosed on this one medication called propranolol. I took Benadryl with it and for some reason, I ended up in the hospital," she added.
