Ivanka Trump stuns in flowy linen dress and statement gold brooch at White House event
Ivanka Trump stepped out in style during a meet at the White House on Friday morning. Ivanka was seen looking like she meant business in a white linen dress, featuring puff sleeves and a raw hem and a conservative neckline.
The wrap dress was flowy and cinched Ivanka's waist with a matching belt at the waistline. It also featured a slight slit down the front of the dress showing off her toned legs.
Ivanka wore her signature blonde hair, parted at the center, loose and wore a brown smokey eye and thick lashes, paired with a dark lip. She added some black suede pumps with a pointed toe featuring a block heel for added comfort. She toned down the accessories for the look and went with a large gold brooch, pinned to her dress. Her engagement ring, of course, made an appearance.
Ever since she took the role of her father's advisor at the White House, Ivanka has steered clear of blingy pieces that are over the top. Instead, she sticks to one statement piece of jewelry which was the brooch in this case.
Once a model for Tommy Hilfiger and Versace, she's definitely come far from her glitter and sequins phase of the 90s. She still jazzes it up at parties and fancy events, but she's mostly seen in muted tones during most of her outings. She often picks a bright color as the staple piece and then works neutrals into it - like the red Carolina Herrera pleated coat she was seen in with her husband last week. She paired the coat with black stockings, black heels, and black shades.
Ivanka looked comfortable and chic in the trenchcoat-like dress and was seen smiling for the cameras as she gave her speech. She posted a video from the summit on her Instagram but did not spill the wardrobe details.
However, we do know that Ivanka loves her designer garb. "Human traffickers exploit society’s most vulnerable; often women and homeless youth. We will be relentless in the fight to hold perpetrators accountable for their heinous crimes and restore human dignity to survivors as we stamp out the evil of modern slavery," she wrote as the caption.
